Danis Pediatric Center is a full-service pediatric office, so we can see your child for all of their health care needs (sick appointments, school and sports physicals, immunizations, checkups, well baby examinations and more). Danis Pediatric Center is a group practice, so we make every effort to have your child seen by their physician or provider team. Patients are seen by appointment only. For physicals and well-baby examinations, you should call us two months prior to when the appointment is needed.
When scheduling your child for school or sports physicals, please call in late spring or early summer as our physical appointments fill up very fast.
Calls for sick child appointments should be made early in the day (our phone lines open at 7:30 am) so a time can be arranged for your child to be examined that day.
We ask you arrive to your scheduled appointment at Danis Pediatrics Center 15 minutes ahead of time to allow for registration and preparation. If you do not arrive on time, your physician will not be able to see you. We ask you contact us to cancel/reschedule any appointment no later than 2 hours prior to the appointment time. If you are unable to fulfill this request, the appointment will count as a no show. Three consecutive no-shows or three no-shows in a 12 month period will result in removal from Danis Pediatric Center.
Some problems can be handled over the phone and do not require a visit. If you have questions, feel free to call our office and talk to either our Triage Nurse or leave a message for a physician to call you back.
Our doctors are always available after hours for urgent questions (after 4:30 pm, weekends and holidays) contact our Physician Exchange at 314-268-4070.
Please call your pharmacy for medication refills, they will coordinate with your PCP in our clinic, saving you waiting time on the phone.

Please do not go directly to the emergency room without calling us, unless it is a true emergency. Routine medical problems are best dealt with by your primary care physician via an office visit or a phone conversation.

- FACES: Foreign Adoption Clinic and Educational Services
This program is designed to address the medical, emotional and psychosocial needs of internationally adopted children and their families. Learn more about FACES.
- Fostering Healthy Children
Children placed in the foster care system are among the most vulnerable members of our society. These children generally come from families with the fewest psychosocial and financial resources, and experience higher rates of serious emotional and behavioral problems, chronic physical disabilities, developmental delays and poor school performance.
As pediatric health care specialists, we agree with the American Academy of Pediatrics that all children should have access to “continuous, comprehensive, coordinated, compassionate and culturally sensitive primary care.”
As a medical provider and resource to state agencies, community coalitions, kinship, foster and biological parents, we seek to improve the health and well-being outcomes of children (birth – 12 years of age) in foster care.
